Terrazzo is a unique stone finish that typically contains marble chips of various sizes and colors, held together with a cement base or, in newer applications, a resin or epoxy base.

Terrazzo can be restored using the same process as marble and granite restoration. Most terrazzo surfaces are coated with wax, which can collect dirt and yellow over time, requiring stripping and re-waxing.

Terrazzo can be polished using a natural polishing process that eliminates the need to strip old wax finishes and can actually reduce maintenance costs.

When terrazzo is finished naturally, you can achieve either a glossy or matte finish. JYP Marble and Tile can restore, re-polish, and repair your terrazzo floors.
